# Berserk (goberserk.no)

> BerserkOS is operations software for cruise ports, in daily use at Skjolden Port, Port of the Year
> 2026 (Seatrade Cruise Awards). Berserk is a small Norwegian company in Skjolden at the head of the
> Sognefjord (61.49°N 7.60°E). Berserk also makes ship and destination films.

- One place for the whole call, from the agent's first email until the ship has sailed.
- Before the call: BerserkOS reads the tour lists, group sheets and coach lists the agent sends (Excel,
  PDF or Word), links the cruise line's tour codes to the port's own tours, and sets up the call plan:
  coach, driver and guide for every group, with meeting, departure and return times. It flags double
  bookings and driving-time breaches before the day. Skjolden's largest call in 2026 had 65 departures
  on 17 tours, with 16 coaches and 21 guides.
- Digital helpers: three helpers do the groundwork. Halvard reads the agents' email, checks the dates
  against the quay and writes the reply. The tour helper reads tour lists and coach lists and links each tour
  to the port's own. The coach helper reads the driving lists the coach companies send and turns them into
  coach days. A person
  approves every booking, tour list and driving list before it goes in. When new Tour Group Info arrives for
  an approved tour, the guide programme is updated and the shore excursion managers are told.
- Bus Broker: the port's own coaches and partner coaches in one view. Driving lists arrive through the
  transport mailbox and go in after approval. Driving time (EU rules) and breaks (Norwegian working-time
  rules) are checked before the day. Hours with other employers show as unknown until given. Unknown is
  shown as unknown, never as zero.
- Bookings: agents write to the port's Outlook inbox as they do today. BerserkOS reads the booking,
  checks the dates against the quay and anchorage, and drafts the reply. A person approves bookings
  from agents.
- Call day: a wall board shows which tours are out, what is late and when everyone is back on board.
  Quay sales cannot sell more seats than the coach has.
- Crew: guides and drivers sign up for calls, see their assignment, count guests and log hours in an
  app on their own phone. The app is free for them.
- For the council: figures from the port's own operations, shown the way a councillor will see them.
  Skjolden: 22 calls in 2024, 68 booked for 2027.
- Peace of mind: run alongside today's tools on a short contract. The database keeps each port's data
  apart, and the separation is tested before every new version. An encrypted database copy is taken every
  hour and kept in three places. The data is the port's. Two-factor is on for office roles: sign-in is
  confirmed with a code from an authenticator app. Sign-in with the port's Microsoft account is coming,
  not yet in use.
- Walkthrough: we show BerserkOS on screen with the port's own quay, agents and tours. The port pays a
  monthly licence and a fee per tour guest. Guides and drivers pay nothing.

- Sign-in, separation between ports, who at Berserk can see data, email through Microsoft Graph from the
  port's own mailboxes with the port's consent, backups, hosting, privacy, and what Berserk does not have
  (no ISO 27001 or SOC 2, no outside security test yet, no SLA).
- The port is the data controller. The data processor is Remedy Media AS. The data processing agreement
  is written together with the port before start.
